"Skin and bone" - from functional analysis to architecture

We are used to living by splitting between SAs and BAs. Sometimes an analyst cannot keep sitting on a chair, and then they are called a hybrid. Just 15 years ago, any analyst felt free to work at the database model level, and then, somehow, everyone split into BAs and SAs.  The "mess" at the code level played no small role in it. IT was gaining momentum. Having seen the 'new toy', it was necessary to 'spend some quality time with it'.

I don't want to discover a "new world" or give the world a "new religion". I want to introduce audiences to my approach to task analysis, which is based on the symbiosis of product and IT strategies, a functional and an architectural approach.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have a checklist and a list of questions/notes for analysis on complex product projects. The material will provide a broader view of the problem and the application of design thinking.

How I became Technical Product Manager

People marry for love, someone is looking for financial gain, someone is trying to escape to marriage from problems, and I got married to a systems architect and became a TPO! Analyst (business, systems, hybrid (full stack)), head of the analytics department, project manager, product manager, whoever I was! But the last 2 years and the support of my husband (a systems architect) have led me to a professional coming out. I can honestly say that I am a technical product owner. And I want to share my story with you, tell you why the transition to technical product management is important for me, what insights I came across on my way, and how you might be interested in the way to TPO - the still blue ocean of IT-sector.

Protected area where the product lives in peace with the state order

In the world of the state order, we often meet tying situation. Smart (without any quotes) books, course and conference spokespersons show us cool functional suites for theories verification, quick startup, design thinking. However, how often can we at least prioritise the backlog according to the needs of the product, instead of the needs of the customer?

My talk will answer the question “How can we stop feeling sorry for ourselves, find the strength to do a good job, become more flexible, learn to modify and start applying world practices in real life. It is also about saying "NO" in the way to be heard and understood to "STOP DESTROYING YOUR PRODUCT".
